If you're looking to book in with me for your actor headshots, firstly, thank you! I look forward to working with you. If you have any specific questions or ideas/mood boards for your photos, feel free to send me an email at any time and I'll get back to you ASAP.

After you book your shoot, you'll receive a confirmation email with the full address of my studio as well as a map and directions for where to meet me on-site.

The day of your shoot

Once you get to the entrance marked on the map, just send me a text on the number in the confirmation email and I'll head over to meet you.

You'll have time to get settled in and set up when we're in the studio, and then we'll have a quick informal chat so I can learn more about who you are as a performer and we can figure out some goals for the shoot. From there, I'll explain all the posing stuff and we'll get right into shooting! Headshot shoots can naturally seem quite daunting but I'll be there to guide you through every step of the way. There's no expectation to be extremely confident on camera right from the start, we'll be able to ease into the posing and rhythm of the shoot during the first set of photos and then once we've got the shots for the first set, we'll work through several different other outfits, hair changes (if needed) and lighting/backdrop setups.

I like to work in a very collaborative way: After each set of photos I'll show you the ones we've taken so far to get your opinion and see which photos are standing out to you the most. It's great to get your thoughts and make sure we're on the same page, so periodically checking-in this way means you can have as little or as much input in the look and style of the photos as you'd like.

We'll finish the shoot with a dynamic range of photos that you'll already be confident in, and then I'll quickly show you how the gallery system works, and later on that day you'll receive your gallery. From there, it's just a case of selecing your final photos and sending them off for editing.

After your shoot

There's no time-pressure to choose your photos. All of my shoots come with 2 years of access to your gallery, so you can take all the time you need. In the gallery you'll have access to a list of my favourites from the shoot, as well as the option to favourite or unfavourite your photos to narrow them down, and use a comments box as well to narrow them down even further. You'll also have a share link on the gallery, so you can send it to people and they can use the comments boxes to add their thoughts as well.

Once you've decided on your photos, just add them to your basket - Where you can add notes for retouching - And then put them through the gallery checkout ( With Pay-Per-Photo bookings this costs £43 per image, and with the Full Package or the Unlimited Package you will have a set amount of free photos you can put through the checkout).

I always edit the photos myself rather than relying on external editors, as it's always more reliable that way and I enjoy editing. I keep things as natural as I can in the edit - generally just getting rid of non-permanent spots and blemishes and any distracting elements like logos or stray hairs, and then making further specific adjustments if you added retouching notes to your order.

Your final edits will be sent over to you within 2 working days of you placing your order, and from there you can use the photos for anything you'd like!

Thank you for reading!

I look forward to working with you. As always, If you have any questions, feel free to send me an email at any time and I'll get back to you ASAP.
